ABOUT ARKANSAS POLY & PRINTING

WE'RE PACKAGING EXPERTS

The highly trained staff at Arkansas Poly & Printing are veterans in the packaging industry, having on average 25 years of experience with APP. We can assist in all phases of the flexible packaging products we manufacture, starting with design, layout, and color breakdowns.

WE'RE VERTICALLY INTEGRATED

Nearly 50 years ago, APP began as a manufacturer of clear polyethylene bags, primarily in the poultry industry. As we grew, we recognized an opportunity to serve other industries with our expertise. Today, we engage in the extrusion, printing and converting of our own raw materials. The vertical integration of our production process allows us greater control over our scheduling, shortens lead times, and affords us opportunities to expand our market area.

WE'RE CENTRALLY LOCATED

Our geographic location in Northwest Arkansas makes us an ideal partner for businesses in any part of the country. We're positioned at the intersection of I-40 and I-49, have immediate rail and river access, and are located just one hour from the headquarters of five of the largest transportation and logistics companies in North America.

WE'RE OBSESSED WITH QUALITY

We only want to offer our customers the highest quality custom Flexo packing possible. That's why we've designed our business with in-house capabilities and have worked hard to earn certifications that truly matter. When you order from APP, you can be assured you're getting a product that offers:

  • SQF Certification
  • Global Food Safe Certification
  • Less than 1% product return rate
  • HAACP-based quality check process from raw materials to shipping
  • AVT Scan Technology on Flexo Presses
  • ColorCert Technology
  • 100% made in the USA
  • Internal testing capabilities

WE'RE COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY

APP is dedicated to providing sustainable solutions that are fiscally and environmentally responsible. Our vertical integration allows us to reduce our carbon footprint. We also recycle 100% of our ink, recycle 100% of scrap film, repurpose our printed film scrap, and recycle all corrugated materials.

Arkansas Poly & Printing (APP) has a rich history dating back to the early 70s, when the original owner, Ben Gosey, purchased a single used bag machine. Mr. Gosey made sales calls by day and bags by night.

Mr. Gosey purchased Arkansas Poly Bag Company in Fort Smith which provided additional equipment, printing facility, and warehouse.

The company established Arkansas Film Extrusion in the Industrial park in Van Buren, which would now be the primary supplier of polyethylene materials used by Arkansas Poly Bag Company.

All operations were moved to Van Buren, and the company changed its name to Arkansas Poly, Inc.

Partners Sarah Sparks Diebold and R. Trent Goins purchased the legacy packaging manufacturer from the Gosey Family, naming the new entity Arkansas Poly & Printing.

APP is an aggressive, growth-oriented company, supplying flexible packaging products regionally, nationally, and internationally. The company has enjoyed success through the dedicated efforts of its employees and owners who insist on valuing integrity, quality, and service.
